Beef showcased on PA Eats!
Bedford, PA –
The PA Beef Council (PBC) teamed up with PA Eats to highlight the strengths of beef for May is Beef Month! The editorial piece titled PA Beef 101: 12 Popular Cuts and How to Use Them answers all the questions you might have approaching the meat counter. What cuts are affordable? What cuts are best for grilling? How can I use a single cut in multiple dishes? PA Eats helps answer all of these questions and many more in their featured post.
In addition to the feature story, 2 “hands and pans” style videos were developed to highlight 4 of our favorite recipes that are quick, simple meals for families on the go. The videos, Ground Beef 2 Ways and Shredded Beef, 2 Ways are also featured on the PA Eats site and will be used in PBC programs and events throughout the year.
Lastly, PBC is supporting the PA Eats mission to fund Feeding Pennsylvania food banks via a limited edition t-shirt sale. The Eat Beef t-shirts are available via the online SquadLocker store. All proceeds from the sale are being directly donated to the PA Eats non-profit organization. Whether you’re a beef producer, consumer or supporter, May is the time to celebrate all things beef! To keep up with all of the May is Beef Month programming, follow the PBC on Facebook or visit our website at www.pabeef.org.
